42 communities and 19 school districts dedicated to reducing aircraft noise in the communities around O’Hare International Airport since 1996.

The Federal Aviation Administration will post certain technical data on its website before the written Draft Re-Evaluation of the EIS is released, FAA Environmental Protection Specialist Amy Hanson told members of the ONCC Technical Committee June 9.

Three website directories will contain draft final modeling data for (1) delay and travel time analysis, (2) noise analysis and (3) air quality. Once filed, however, these data will continue to be reviewed by FAA and may change.

The FAA will seek comments from federal, state and local entities, and the public, about the Draft Re-Evaluation. The agency will announce dates and times for four public open houses two weeks before the Draft document is released.

Information regarding data and meeting dates will be posted on the FAA website at http://www.faa.gov/airports/airport_development/omp/eis_re-eval/.
