The City of Chicago has implemented CAPTCHA, a new feature on its aircraft noise complaint website. This change is intended to prevent negative impacts to the City's 311 system for citywide service requests.

The process for residents to submit noise complaints will remain unchanged, except that they will be asked to click on a box indicating they are not a robot when submitting a noise complaint via the website. This is an interim technical solution until the 311 modernization is complete.

ONCC will continue to provide input on improvements that should be made to the aircraft noise complaint system.
