The Residential Sound Insulation Committee met on Tuesday, March 21 at the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) Building.  Phase 18 will include 530 eligible dwellings within the entire noise contour. These residences were not sound insulated in prior phases. Phase 19 will be the "last call" for eligible homeowners to apply for sound insulation under the O’Hare Modernization Plan (OMP). Under the OMP agreement, the aviation department will model a new noise contour when the final runway is completed in 2021.
