42 communities and 19 school districts dedicated to reducing aircraft noise in the communities around O’Hare International Airport since 1996.


FAA has released the Interim Fly Quiet Draft Re-Evaluation Document. View the document here.

The public comment period for the Draft Re-Evaluation document begins today and ends on Wednesday 2/27.

Comments may be submitted online.

In addition, the FAA will hold public workshops in the communities surrounding O’Hare to give residents the opportunity to learn more about the impacts of the Proposed Interim Fly Quiet analyzed and disclosed in the Draft Re-Evaluation. FAA will seek comments from Federal, State, and local entities, and the public on the Draft Re-Evaluation.

The Public Workshops on the Draft Re-Evaluation will be held on the following dates:

Each Public Workshop will start at 2 p.m. (Central Standard Time), and registration to participate in the Public Workshops will conclude by 8 p.m. (Central Standard Time).

Representatives of FAA and its consultants will be available to provide information about the Draft Re-Evaluation. Spanish language translators will be available at the Public Workshops. If you need the assistance of a translator, other than Spanish, please call Ms. Amy Hanson at (847) 294–7354 by January 18, 2019.

The Draft Re-Evaluation is available for review on line and at libraries around O’Hare International Airport.
