The O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission (ONCC) announces that the Interim Fly Quiet Plan (IFQ) at Chicago O’Hare International Airport is scheduled to begin on Sunday night, November 3, 2019. The FAA-reviewed plan, which rotates preferential nighttime runway use, was proposed by the ONCC, in collaboration with the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), to provide relief from nighttime noise for the communities around O’Hare.

O’Hare Noise Compatibility Committee (ONCC) Chair and Mount Prospect Mayor Arlene Juracek, with the approval of the Executive Committee, has appointed the City of Park Ridge to fill a vacancy on the Fly Quiet Committee. The appointment follows the resignation of City of Chicago Ward 41 representative Catherine Dunlap from the ONCC.
