CDA Consultants reviewed Airport Noise Management System Reports for May, June and July 2019.

The ONCC General Meeting Packet for September 6, 2019 is now available on Board Docs.

On September 4, 2019, American Airlines’ last flight of the MD-80 departed from Dallas-Fort Worth for O’Hare International Airport. The remaining 26 aircraft took their final flights to Roswell, New Mexico.

The Fly Quiet Committee met on August 27, 2019. 

Interim Fly Quiet Update 
The Interim Fly Quiet Runway Rotation Plan has been approved by the FAA and is scheduled to begin November 3, 2019. CDA will present outreach and tracking materials at Sept. 6 ONCC General Meeting. CDA will provide weekly progress reports on the IFQ.

The ONCC Technical Committee met on August 20, 2019 at the Mount Prospect Village Hall. 

Noise Monitors
CDA provided a noise monitor update. All 8 portable noise monitors are available. Members can reach out to ONCC or complete web site application to request a monitor.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced the release of the Final Re-Evaluation Report for the Proposed Interim Fly Quiet Plan.

The Interim Fly Quiet Runway Rotation Plan was proposed by the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission (ONCC), in collaboration with the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), in 2017 to provide relief from nighttime noise for the communities around O’Hare International Airport.
