The FAA proposes to permanently implement offset (angled) approach procedures at O'Hare for Runway 10R/28L that were temporarily approved in the 2015 Written Re-Evaluation for the O'Hare Modernization Environmental Impact Statement. The FAA is conducting an Environmental Assessment to evaluate these changes proposed for Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
Comments on the scoping process must be postmarked or submitted online or via email, fax or voicemail by midnight Central time July 9, 2021.

Incoming ONCC Chair Joe Annunzio and presents outgoing Chair Arlene Juracek with a proclamation honoring her service
Mount Prospect Mayor and ONCC Chair Arlene A. Juracek was honored by commission members at the May 3 Executive Committee and May 7 Annual Meeting. At the Executive Committee meeting earlier in the week, incoming Chair Joe Annunzio presented Juracek with a proclamation, thanking her for “her integrity, her honesty, and her clear vision to make the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission a change agent to reduce aircraft noise in our communities.”

The O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission held its annual meeting on May 7, 2021, and welcomed a new slate of officers to the organization. Mount Prospect Mayor Arlene Juracek had previously announced her intent to retire from her position as Chair of the Commission as well as her Mayoral role earlier this year. More
The Commission elected Niles representative and Park Ridge resident Joe Annunzio as Chair of the Commission and Karyn Robles, Transportation Director for the Village of Schaumburg as Vice-Chair. Dr. Raymond Kuper (School District 86) has agreed to stay on as Treasurer.
